Chat with Enjin Friends on your Mobile or IM Client (BETA)

You can now chat with Enjin friends without being on the website. You can chat via your mobile or any IM (XMPP enabled) client. Users can also chat between Website and Mobile / IM Clients.

To use this feature you need to login with the following details on the listed clients by adding aJabber/XMPP account:

Username: @chat.enjin.com
Password:

Domain is chat.enjin.com

Note: Be sure to use your User ID (It is a number), not your username. You can find the user id by going to your profile. It will be listed in the Vital info section in the left column.

[SW:ToR] First Organised PvP event Vs The Imperial Guard

Wednesday the 4th of April AT will be going up against The Imperial Guard in Take and Hold event on Alderaan.

Rules of the event:

1) Only allowable respawns are at Med Centre or by Battle Rez

2) No Companions

The event will last 60 minutes and start at 9pm, the side that holds the location for the longest is declared the winner

A good turn out would ensure that we will be able to continue to do these kind of events, with more elaborate storylines and rules.

New Global Character System

A new system for managing and displaying game characters is now live!
Let’s check out what’s new:

Global Characters

You will find a new section in your dashboard called "Characters”. Here you can:

Add characters for any game you play to your global profile.
See all your characters organized by game, with core statistics displayed.
Quick add your characters to any community you join in the future.
Manage your global characters or per site character list.
Force update characters anytime which are linked to an armory or game database.

New Add Character System

New streamlined user interface
Quick add function, let you add characters quickly from your global list to new sites.
Auto-add characters to your global list when adding to a community.
Select from a library of game specific avatars or upload you own.
Auto imports your character avatar for supported games.
Displays site games as covers for easy character adding.
New add character function added in Admin > Teams section for admins.

Character Avatar System

Users can now select from a library of avatars for popular games.
If supported, avatars automatically matches to the character type selection.
You can upload a custom avatar per character.
Reset your avatar to use the default image or the imported character image.
More avatar libraries will be added for major games or as requested.

Profile Characters & Widget

Your profile will display your global and community characters.
A new widget appears in the bottom right column of your profile and displays up to 5 global characters from your various games.

New mumble channel structure and you

There appears to be some confusion as to how the new channel set up is working. Complaints have been that folks don't know what channel they are in and I can understand that with the subchannels at the top of the list, it doesn't work well. What will help is to use the option to set Users to be above channels.

Open mumble and go to Configure → Settings
At the bottom left of the window, make sure "Advanced" is checked.
In the left side menu go to User Interface
Under the section 'Channel Tree'
Set Expand to "All"
Check "Users above Channels"

This will make it so users will appear to be in the correct channel with sub-channels out of the way.

Ok so by now you've noticed that it's gone. I've finally was able to learn that the Enjin devs have disabled it because it was starting to cause lag within the enjin community overall. Unfortunately no ETA has been given at this time or other news apart from they are working toward a better version.

In other site news, I'll be authoring other shorter video giving guidance over site features. If you guys have any suggestions please forward them my way.

New Home for Aeturnas Trinitas

Over the years we have used a number of services to host our guild website. Starting in January of 2012, Aeturnas Trinitas will be moving to the Enjin Guild Hosting Service. The reasons for this are the quality of the product, and its support for multi-game guilds, like us. Please ensure your username is recognizable to the community, and take advantage of the unique features this new site provides us. Make your characters in the games you're playing, they'll link to your character stats in game when you do.

As always, the site is only as good as its adoption rate by our members. So please take the time to familiarize yourself with all its capabilities.
