My first computer was a Tandy TRS-80 in 1982. I learned Basic Programming on an Apple I, II, and IIe a few years later. Ahh, the glories of a cassette drive in lue of a harddrive. My first gaming computer was an Atari 800. When all my friends had consoles, I was geeking it up with computer games.
The first computer I built was an 80386 blazing at 12Mhz and the motherboard had a 16bit databus. It had a HUGE 200mb harddrive and I remember thinking there was no way I would ever fill it. I believe it was maxxed at 64k ram.  I still have most of that hardware for giggles. I've been asked how many computers I have built since 1985 and I really couldn't say, as I built computers for a living in the 90s,but the number is up there, I'm sure.Networking and Computer Hardware is my specialty, though I'm not to bad a programmer. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and Comp Sci with a concentration in Networking with several Programming certificates. I'm A+, Net+, Security+, Linux+ and MCP certified and I'm studying for my GIACSec. I cant wait to be "qualified" to do IT security consulting. I like my job though, sometimes it can be tedious when you feel like you have seen every problem that exists  Forum Signature:

i'm 24 years old, i think Lust is a given. Sloth may be extreme but if i dont -have- to do something, i usually dont or procrastinate as much as possible. As far as wrath, i do have a short temper. Takes a lot to make me act on it, but when i do it has been violent.
